Birth Services
As a certifying doula, I offer a discounted rate on birth and postpartum services until my certifications are complete. This means that I have completed all my in-person trainings, but I am finishing up my online modules.

Postpartum Support - What's Included?
Offered in 2 hour blocks or longer, minimum 8 hour commitment, no maximum
For the first 3 months after birth, I can help in the following ways:
Physical and emotional recovery after birth (Information about what to expect, what is normal, when to seek outside help, recommendations for services in the community, etc.)
Infant care support and education (Information around soothing, sleep, diapering, dressing, etc.)
Infant feeding support and education (Assistance and education around breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, multiples, tandem feeding, etc.)
Give parents a break (Care for the baby while you sleep, eat, shower, talk, spend time with other children, etc.)
Light household chores (Putting through a load of dishes or laundry, preparing a snack for birther or siblings)
Holding space for all the feelings (Birther, partner, siblings, grandparents, anyone)
Sibling adjustment support (Assistance with including the sibling(s), getting them ready for school/daycare, bedtime or naptime routines, etc.)
Trauma-aware birth story listening
Babywearing support and education
The tender, precious postpartum period is a time for the birther and family to feel supported and loved. I am so honoured to be able to provide this service for families during the fourth trimester (first 3 months postpartum).
Volunteer Doula Program
For families in financial need, the Volunteer Doula Program can provide free birth or postpartum support (or both) through the Doula Services Association of BC.
